Other objects then move along the curved paths created by this curvature, which we perceive as gravitational attraction. In this theory, gravity is not seen as a force acting at a distance, but rather as the curvature of the fabric of spacetime.
General relativity also predicts the phenomenon of gravitational time dilation, where time runs slower in stronger gravitational fields. This effect has been observed experimentally and is taken into account in systems like GPS satellites.
